I am really gaining much insight from your blogs. (Reading each one and taking notes. )This one especially interests me. I am a giving coordinator/ grant writer for a International Seminary based in Russia. Trinity Video Seminary. We are an evangelistic seminary and film Bible professors as they teach (mostly at US seminaries), and evangelize many countries with full online study for our 4600 worldwide students. With COVID 19 we are gaining more and more students.
It has been very challenging for me to do as you said, and communicate just how this “loving act” of academia affects our students in their culture. We have many countries where their lives are affected by these life instructing and theological courses, and they in turn share and minister in their own cultures.
For many, we are the primary source for any Bible teaching at all, and many Muslims are viewing our courses on YouTube as well.
