A graduate of Wheaton College (Illinois, USA), Jonathan Onigbinde had grown up believing he would be a Medical Doctor or a Vet, but God had a different plan. Working at a Nigerian bank 1968 made him a businessman at heart, and after a Liberal Arts education at Wheaton College (Illinois), and an MBA from Tulane Graduate School of Business (New Orleans), Jonathan had a couple years of working experience with (then) Arthur Young & Company in Dallas and London, and then resigned to go back to Business in Nigeria.

Today Jonathan spends a considerable amount of time in Christian ministries, and is a member or Chairman of the board of quite a number. He is passionate about Christian generosity and fund raising for Christian ministries and is a speaker at conferences and churches on these topic, mostly in Nigeria, Africa, but also globally in several countries.

He is a pioneer of a Bible Study (and Sunday School) Christian Learning Materials publication outfit that puts out over 100,000 new editions of Bible Study materials annually (for nearly 20 years now), and it's used by majority of the churches in Northern Nigeria.

Jonathan Onigbinde is happily married to Charity for 38 years, and they have four adult children and two grand children.
