We have to be more interested in the donor than in their donation

We try to have the right project in front of the right person at the right time, but the results we have to leave with God.

In 1 Samuel 15, Samuel rebukes King Saul for not listening to God before going to war with the Amalekites.  Starting at verse 20, Saul replies to Samuel, “But I did obey the Lord,” Saul said, “I went on the mission the Lord assigned me.
